Asian stocks gain on tech, oil rises after attacks

Asian stocks rose after US technology shares advanced on Friday. Oil climbed after the US and Iran traded tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. The MSCI Asia Pacific share index climbed 1.1%, with South Korean chipmakers SK Hynix Co.
